He has provided representation before the National Labor Relations Board, state and federal courts and proceedings arising from statutory grievance procedures or collective bargaining agreements. Jeff has represented individual employees who have been treated unlawfully by their employers. Jeff has also provided advice and counsel to public employers while employed by the West Virginia Attorney General and as a Special Assistant Attorney General.

As a hearing examiner, Jeff has heard more than 100 cases for more than twenty government agencies on issues relating to licensure, ethics and employment rights. As a trained mediator, Jeff utilizes his analytical and communication skills honed through years of litigating and hearing examiner work to assist parties in resolving disputes through the mediation process.

Coal Dust
West Virginia has a deep and proud history of providing the fuel that the country was built on. But accompanying that is the undeniable risk coal miners face from black lung and other job-related illnesses including cases arising from faulty coal dust masks. Jeff Blaydes fights tirelessly for families who have been affected by the deadly diseases caused by unsafe mining and other workplace practices. His aim is twofold: to provide financial compensation for families, as well as to identify and stop unsafe working conditions.
